Born in Belgium in 1996, Louise Foor joined in 2014 the Institute of Music and Pedagogy (IMEP) in Namur where she studied her Bachelor with Ana-Camelia Stefanescu and Elise Gäbele. In 2017, she won the «best young performer» prize at the international competition "Haricléa Darclée" in Romania. In 2018, she took part to other international competitions in Germany (Immling), Austria (Graz) and Italy (Portofino) where she won lots of prizes. In 2019, she was accepted in the class of Anna Samuil in the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler (Berlin). In 2020, she did her debut at the Royal Opera House of Wallonie-Liège and was accepted to the Young Soloist program of La Monnaie/De Munt as well as to the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Belgium. In September 2020, she won the first prize in the international competition « Virgilijus Noreika » in Vilnius (Lithuania). In 2022, she will make her debut in La Monnaie/De Munt (Brussels) as Frasquita in the production of Carmen, Bizet.

  • July 2018 : Prize of the best singer under age of 25 in the international competition « CLIP » in Portofino (Italy)

  • April 2018 : Second Prize and Soprano Prize in the international competition « Ferruccio Tagliavini » in Graz (Austria)

  • February 2018 : Prize of the best young female singer in the « Immling International Singing Competition » in Halfing (Germany)

  • July 2017 : Prize of the best young singer in the « Hariclea Darclée international voice competition » in Braila (Romania)

  • November 2016 : Laureate in the international competition « Triomphe de l’Art » in Brussels (Belgium)
