In this 2025–2026 season, Louise Foor will make her debut at the Opéra national de Paris (Bastille) as Gerhilde in Die Walküre by Richard Wagner. She will also appear for the first time at the Salzburg Spring Festival, singing the role of Woglinde in Wagner’s Das Rheingold, a role she will reprise with the Berliner Philharmoniker. She will also make her Spanish debut performing Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony in Valladolid. During the 2024–2025 season, she sang the role of Lisette (La Rondine, G. Puccini) in Metz, France, and appeared at the Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie in Brussels as Frasquita (Carmen, G. Bizet). In the 2023–2024 season, she flourished artistically as a member of the Opera Studio at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich and had the joy of performing the title role of Leïla (Les Pêcheurs de perles, G. Bizet) for the first time at the Opéra National de Bordeaux. In 2022, Louise Foor appeared in numerous roles at the Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie, the Opéra National du Capitole de Toulouse, the Grand Théâtre de Luxembourg, and the Grand Théâtre de Genève. She made her debut at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège in 2020 and was an artist-in-residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Waterloo, Belgium.In September 2020, she won first prize at the international singing competition “Virgilijus Noreika” in Vilnius, Lithuania. In 2018, she participated in several international competitions in Germany (Immling), Austria (Graz), and Italy (Portofino), earning numerous awards. In 2017, she was awarded the prize for Best Young Artist at the “Hariclea Darclée” International Competition in Romania. That same year, she completed her Bachelor’s degree in vocal performance at IMEP (Namur, Belgium), and in 2023, she earned her Master’s degree in the class of Anna Samuil at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin, Germany.
